The location was magnificent and absolutely perfect to enable us to watch the football. The staff were highly courteous and the room was comfortable modern and top quality.

We liked the atmosphere as it was a Dining Pub but with no horrid slot machines or booming music, very tasteful. Nice area. Huge portions on the food which made them good value.
Our room cost was for the room only and we paid extra for breakfast. It was a good breakfast and not expensive so we didn't really mind, but I would normally expect breakfast to be included. But Dinner was good value and the wine was good value too so we didn't mind too much.

Beer food and a very warm atmosphere you felt welcome by staff and the regular customers. Nothing seemed to trouble them.
Room was a bit hot no control over the bathroom towel rail.

Our second visit to the Carpenters Arms was equally as memorable as our first stay there earlier this year. We simply love the country atmosphere and ease of access to the Channel Tunnel and local places of interest such as Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic. We will definitely stay there again!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent - we had two superb meals and breakfast was also fabulous. Ease of access to a number of towns including Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Canterbury made it an excellent base to visit Kent. Would definately stay there again.
